How to Create a Limited account on Windows XP

If you frequently allow other user to access your computer, your computer is not safe because there is a chance of installing junk, stumbling upon search history etc. So by creating a Limited Privilege user account ,you can prevent this.

Here is what the Limited user account will prevent

1. limited users cannot download and install programs.
2. limited users cannot change system settings.
3. limited user cannot delete any files except their own.
4. limited user accounts cannot access other users files.
Here is the step by step the procedure for making a Limited Privilege account on Windows XP.

Step 1
Go to the task bar and Click Start.

Step 2
Go to Settings -> Control Panel -> User Accounts and select "Create New Account"

Step 3
Name the new acount whatever you want, hit next and then check the radio button on limited. Now you may Set a password if you wish.

Once this is finished nobody on this account can access your folders or install software without your admin password.
